The Rohr Chabad Jewish Student Center

The Rohr Chabad Jewish Student Center at the University of Texas at Austin supports a robust calendar of Jewish events and opportunities. There are regular religious services, a vibrant Shabbat community, and special high holiday services. Chabad organizes scholarly Torah study, community-building events, and Jewish communal internships.

Olami Texas

Olami is an independent Jewish organization operating across the United States and globally. Olami Texas provides Jewish students in the city of Austin with extensive opportunities for enriching their Jewish life and learning. With a physical space close to the UT Austin campus, Olami hosts dozens of students each week for Torah classes, thought-provoking discussions, Shabbat activities, and a range of other events.

Olami offers national and international Jewish heritage retreats for students at UT to travel to New York City, Poland, Israel, and beyond. Students get the chance to connect with fellow Jews studying across the United States and the world as well as participating in weekly learning throughout the year on the ground in Austin.

Texas Hillel

Texas Hillel offers a range of events to strengthen Jewish communal life at the University of Texas at Austin. Shabbat services and lively weekday events mark the calendar, Birthright trips are offered yearly for UT Austin students, and an active Student Executive Council helps to guide the mission of Texas Hillel.
