The Rosenthal-Levy Scholarship maintains a highly selective admissions. Candidates are strongly encouraged to submit applications as early as possible.

Note: All applicants to the Rosenthal-Levy Scholars program must apply and be admitted separately and independently to the University of Florida through the early action, regular admissions, or transfer admissions process. Scholarship awards are contingent on admission to the University of Florida.

Early Action I

Application Deadline: November 9, 2025
Decision Notification: December 15, 2025

Early Action II

Application Deadline: February 22, 2026
Decision Notification: March 30, 2026

Regular Decision

Application Deadline: March 30, 2026
Decision Notification: April 20, 2026

Who is Eligible to Apply?

The following students are eligible to apply to the Rosenthal-Levy Scholars program in the current admissions cycle:

  • Current high school seniors seeking admission to the University of Florida for Fall 2026 (This includes students who intend to take a gap year and defer matriculation until Fall 2027).
  • Current gap-year students (in Israel-based programs or elsewhere) who intend to apply or have already applied or already been accepted to the University of Florida for Fall 2026.
  • Current freshmen or sophomores already enrolled at the University of Florida.
  • Current freshmen or sophomores at other colleges and universities seeking transfer admission to the University of Florida and planning to matriculate in Fall 2026.

How do I Apply?

A complete application will include:

  • Your personal information
  • An academic transcript
  • A resume or CV
  • A list of academic, leadership, and personal references
  • Personal essays describing your intellectual interests and qualifications for the Rosenthal-Levy Scholarship

What is the Timetable for Selection?

Applicants will hear within a few weeks of submitting their application whether they are selected for Semi-Finalist interviews. Finalists will be invited for in-person personal interviews whenever possible.
