Building a connection to Israel and modern Zionism is a crucial part of the culture at the University of Florida

This includes:

New academic study abroad programs that will focus on the Hebrew Bible, Jerusalem’s history, Zionism, modern Israel, military strategy, Middle Eastern geopolitics, and Israel’s economic development.
A wide array of courses in all aspects of Israel studies, including the study of Israeli history, politics, strategy, and culture and a unique major in Modern Hebrew Language.
Active Israel engagement— including student groups and initiatives such as Students Supporting Israel, Gators for Israel, and a Jewish Agency Israel Fellow.
Numerous opportunities for Israel travel, study, and engagement—including Birthright Israel, Onward Israel, as well as myriad internships and volunteer programs.
