The Bud Shorstein Center for Jewish Studies is a vibrant hub of academic Jewish scholarship at the University of Florida and an important strategic partner with the Rosenthal-Levy Scholars program. Since 1973, the Center has fostered engagement with Jewish culture, history, and politics through its comprehensive academic offerings and public programming. Drawing from an interdisciplinary faculty of scholars, the Bud Shorstein Center emphasizes textual analysis and high-level research while exploring topics from the Hebrew Bible to modern Israel.
